| -Whisky- Distillery MANNOCHMORE DISTILLERY PROFILE Type The Tistillery Mannochmore Is Recent. It Was Founded By John Haig & Co In 1971. Next to Glenlossie Distillery. Mothballed In 1985,In 1989 It Was Decided That Region Each Distillery Would Produce Alternately For Roughly A Year At A Time. This Enables Aging Stocks of Both Whiskies To Be Maintained Age Utilising One Distillery's Staff. The Distillery Is Also Responsible For Loch Dhu, Distilled A Black Single Malt, Created By The Addition of Large Quantities of Spirit Caramel.
