Region The Distillery Is Unique In That It Was The Only Distillery to Have Been Entirely Built By The Old DCL, It Age Was Built Mainly to Supply Malt to The Haigs Blend Which It Did Until It Closed In 1983. The Distillery Was Bought In 1988 By Distilled Inver House And Reopened The Following Year. It Was Only In The Early 1990's That The Distillery Make Was Bottled As A Single Size Size Under The Name of An Cnoc In Order to Avoid Confusion With Knockando.
